Terms of Service

By inviting Katrix (“the Bot”, “we”, “our”) to your Discord guild, executing its slash or prefix commands, or signing into the Katrixerse web dashboard (“the Service”) via Discord OAuth2, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not invite, configure, or interact with Katrix.

In addition to these Terms, you also agree to comply with Discord's official policies, including the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines .

Katrix is a Discord bot built for community management, including moderation logging, support tickets, giveaways, leveling XP, custom commands, temporary voice channels, and live content alerts.

We grant server administrators a non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use Katrix and its web dashboard for managing Discord communities in accordance with these Terms.

You agree to use Katrix solely for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Attempting to bypass rate limits, spam commands, or conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against our servers or the Discord Gateway.
• Using Katrix or its auto-responder/welcome features to distribute malicious links, malware, hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.
• Attempting unauthorized access, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or exploiting security vulnerabilities within Katrix or its database engine.
• Automating fake giveaway entries, XP manipulation, or abusing tickets through headless bots or malicious scripts.
• Using Katrix in servers whose primary objective violates Discord's Community Guidelines or applicable laws.

Server owners and administrators are exclusively responsible for:

• Managing the Discord permission hierarchy for Katrix in their server, making sure that sensitive moderation commands (/ban, /kick, /timeout, /config) are only granted to trusted staff.
• Reviewing custom welcome card background URLs, custom commands, and auto-responders to ensure compliance with copyright and safety laws.
• Maintaining the confidentiality and access control of their Discord staff accounts used to log into the web dashboard.

Giveaways: Katrix is only a tool for running entry countdowns and random draws. The creator of Katrix does not sponsor, guarantee, or fulfill giveaway prizes. All responsibility for prize delivery rests entirely with the individual giveaway host.

XP & Levels: Community experience points (XP), ranks, streaks, and profile badges are virtual attributes within Discord with zero monetary value. They cannot be redeemed, sold, or transferred for real-world currency.

Support Transcripts: Closing a support ticket generates an HTML/text log for record-keeping. Server staff are responsible for handling any sensitive information shared by members within ticket transcripts.

Katrix is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While we strive for 99.9% uptime and sub-second response times, we do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from scheduled maintenance or Discord Gateway outages. In no event shall the developers or operators of Katrixerse be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from bot downtime or data loss.

You may terminate these terms at any time by kicking or removing Katrix from your server. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently blacklist any user or Discord server from interacting with Katrix or accessing the web dashboard if these Terms of Service or Discord Community Guidelines are violated.

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically to reflect updates in our features, infrastructure, or applicable laws. Continued use of Katrix following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
